Little birdie for Cathy

Afbeelding
When I saw this little birdie on several other Blogs, I knew I had to stitch it! So I ordered the Big Book of Cross Stitch Designs (which is full of nice Designs!), and took this little project with me on vacation. I stitched it for Cathy B , to say "Thank you" for all the wonderful exchanges I received from her last year, in the Seasonal Exchanges. I just heard from Cathy that it arrived on her doorstep. Design: part of "Shaker Hearts" from the Big Book of Cross Stitch Designs Fabric: 32 ct. Belfast "Summer Khaki" Floss: DMC Finish: pinkeep

Today I received this wonderful SBEBB ABC- exchange from Edgar . I wasn't expecting anything, so I was a bit surprised :) I think it traveled very fast... But look at all the great things Edgar sent to me: (my wishlist is shrinking again!) Here is a close-up of the gorgeous "pynkeepe", Edgar made me: I love the deep, warm colors he used for it! Thank you so much, Edgar!!! I also received note from Isabella , that she received my last exchange for the Seasonal Exchange. I don't have a pic of the whole exchange, but this is the pinkeep I've made for her: Design: part of "Spring" from the book "Country" by Helen Wind Fabric: 28 ct. linen Tarnished gold Floss: DMC Finish: pinkeep I also received an email from Pascale that she received my Scavenger Hunt for the crazy exchange group. I totally forgot to take pics of that one... So I hope Pascale will publish some in her blog... Hugs,

Chickenrun make-over

DH has a new job and he got this present from his old colleagues as farewell gift: 3 beautifull white chickens and a chicken run! But the chichens were a bit too big for the run. So after a weekend of building and painting, their house is now looking like this: Much better isn't it? We hope they will lay eggs for us as their thanks!

HOE Freebee exchange

I received another wonderful exchange! It's the HOE Freebee exchange from Cathie from France. She send me this tin: Look what was inside the tin: Cathie used a freebee from Aurelle and made this beautiful "carillon" of it. What a great idea!!! She also added some goodies; fabric, ribbon, buttons and beads and citronella candles. Cathie, thank you so much for this wonderful exchange! This is the floss toss for my newest project: It's "Sampler Ronde" de Anagram. Stitched on 40 ct. Summer Khaki, with DMC 221 and 3865. I have a lot of exchanges to stitch first, but I hope I can start this one real soon!

I'm telling you; they never come alone! Today I received two exchanges again. First of all, the Scavenger Hunt. Janaina organized this for the Crazy exchange group . Janaina gave us 6 words and we have to use our imagination to find something for those words. The words are: birds, kitchen, old, flowers, happiness and tiny. Pascale was my partner (again) and she sent me this: Bird: the little pillow Kitchen: the napkins Old: the wooden bobbin Flowers: the notepad Happiness: the card with a beautiful poem written in it Tiny: the little scissors And the Christmas ornament was a little extra I assume. Here's a close up of the pillow. Pascale, thanks again for yet another wonderful exchange!!! I also reveived the Feathered Friends exchange for the SBEBB group today. Cathy (mk) has sent me this pretty exchange: I love everything of it! Cathy made me a gorgeous pinkeep and absolutly stunning fob. Both with Prairie Schooler designs. And she also made an excellent choice with all the
